Hello, and thanks for stopping by. My name is Davenia and this site is a tribute to poetry and poets. I'm a aspiring author, who would like to publish a book of poems. I would also like to publish a couple of books I have been working on. There are a lot people and poets who inspired me, llike Edgar Allan Poe. I'm also very fond of Tupac. In my opinion these indviduals are two of the greatest poets that ever lived, and I honor them both. I hope that I can leave as much of a impact on society as they did. Biograhical Information
I'm a 27 year old Christian raised,black female. I was born in Chicago Heights, Ill. and raised in Milwaukee,WI. I love reading, talking, and I love to write poetry and raps. I've been writing poems over 15 yrs. and have always dreamed of having a book of poems published. Although I haven't accomplished that yet I won't give up. A Strong Black Woman
A strong black elegant species. A woman born with a heart of gold. A open heart and a mind that never does what it's told. Living in the shadows of a man is no option for such a intellectual being. Who loves deeply, and who beauty glows freely. She is stronger than any man no matter how much he can lift. Blessed with a pressence so strong, only god could have given that gift. Although llife may get her down, she will rise back to her feet. Who loves a black man with a spirit that's unique. Often percieved as moody her intentions remain sweet. She might tell you off in a way you won't think is kind. A emotionally uncontrolled being who's love and hate run on a thin line. So when you approach a strong black women, respect her mind.
